PR Sreejesh is a renowned Indian hockey player celebrated for his exceptional contributions to the sport, recognized not only for his athletic prowess but also for his community impact. Recently, he has highlighted the plight of the Indore Stadium, which was intended to honor him but remains unfinished due to lack of progress and funding. This stadium, initially announced nine years ago in the Kunathunad Panchayat area, symbolizes Sreejesh’s legacy and pride in Indian hockey. However, the structure has now become a source of frustration, overgrown and neglected, despite the significant funding from local authorities and sports organizations.

Sreejesh expressed his disappointment, emphasizing that such neglect undermines the development of sports in the region. As he returns from the Paris Olympics, where he excelled, there is a growing demand among locals for the state and central governments to complete the stadium, ensuring it serves as a fitting tribute to his achievements and the potential of Indian hockey.
