Law School Admission Council

The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing access, equity, and fairness in legal education across the globe. Its mission is to promote quality and support candidates throughout the law school admission journey. LSAC offers various products and services, including the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), a crucial standardized exam for prospective law students in the U.S., Canada, and beyond. The LSAT assesses essential skills like critical reading and persuasive writing.

In addition to the LSAT, LSAC provides the Credential Assembly Service (CAS), which simplifies the application process by consolidating academic transcripts and recommendations into a single report for law schools. LSAC also hosts annual Law School Forums, connecting aspiring law students with representatives from over 100 member law schools. Committed to increasing diversity within the legal profession, LSAC actively supports initiatives that promote inclusion and equitable access for all students, paving the way for a more just legal system.
