Kejaksaan Republik Indonesia, or the Attorney General's Office, serves as a vital state institution dedicated to upholding justice and enforcing the law. Led by the Attorney General, who is appointed by the President, this entity encompasses several levels: the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, High Prosecutor's Offices, and District Prosecutor's Offices, forming an integrated unit in state prosecution.

In accordance with the amended Law No. 11 of 2021, the office is tasked with not only prosecuting criminal cases but also ensuring the defense of public interests and human rights while combating corruption, collusion, and nepotism. The Prosecutor’s Office acts as a crucial intermediary between investigations and court proceedings, determining the legitimacy of cases based on valid evidence. Furthermore, it holds the unique authority to execute court rulings and perform functions in civil law as the representative of the government.

With a focus on advancing national resilience, the Kejaksaan plays a significant role in Indonesia's judicial landscape, ensuring adherence to the rule of law and accountability.
