DAVINCI 3D A

DAVINCI 3D A/S is dedicated to the development of advanced car bodies for the Danish Touring Car Championship (DTC). The brand received a request from High Class Racing in 2016 to introduce European-inspired designs to the DTC series, which had previously been based on American designs. The project involved the development of bodies for the DTC racing series, based on high-end sports coupes such as the Audi RS5 and Mercedes AMG C63. The existing Chevrolet Camaro was used as a reference for the development work.

The process involved 3D scanning of cars and chassis, CAD modeling, and simulations to optimize the aerodynamics of the car bodies. Additionally, CFD analysis was conducted to ensure that there was no advantage in using a specific car body during races. The new designs were finalized and the production basis was developed, including 2D and 3D drawings for manufacturing.

DAVINCI actively engaged with teams and drivers, attending the first DTC race to gather feedback and further refine the designs. The brand's commitment to cutting-edge 3D printing technologies also contributes to its vision of exceeding customer expectations in various industries.
