This innovative project, located in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, is designed to safely deliver energy from one of the world’s lowest carbon intensity oil and gas regions. Utilizing industry-leading technology, Anchor can operate at an impressive pressure of up to 20,000 psi, with drilling depths reaching 34,000 feet below the water surface.

With an expected production rate of 75,000 gross barrels of crude oil per day and a lifespan of up to 30 years, Anchor signifies a new frontier in energy capabilities. Committed to sustainable practices, Chevron aims to produce a total of 300,000 net barrels of oil equivalent daily in the Gulf of Mexico by 2026.
