ACBAR

ACBAR, the Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief and Development, has been a vital force in supporting NGOs in Afghanistan since 1988. As an independent organization, ACBAR represents over 200 national and international NGOs, upholding humanitarian principles of independence, neutrality, and impartiality. The agency's mission centers on fostering an efficient platform that empowers its members to conduct effective humanitarian and developmental activities in the region.

ACBAR provides a range of services, including advocacy, capacity development through training programs, and coordination among NGOs and key government ministries. It also actively engages in initiatives like the Humanitarian Twinning Program and organizes events such as the Disability Month and World Environment Day to enhance community involvement and support inclusion for people with disabilities.
