The American drinkware brand unveils a new look and logo.
The 75-year-old company showed off a brand new logo and typeface, doing away with the previous lowercase version featuring multiple colors. Now going beyond its initial offering of tumblers, the company says on its official website: βToday, we are proud to offer a diverse portfolio of products, perfect for outdoor entertaining, on-the-go hydration, and everyday drinkware needs.β
The Tervis Tumbler Company is an American drinkware manufacturer that produces insulated, double-walled tumblers.Β
Founded in 1946 by two engineers, Frank Cotter and G. Howlett Davis, Tervis started out in Detroit, Michigan, but its products are manufactured in Venice, Florida. Entrepreneur John C. Winslow purchased the rights from the two engineers.Β
Aside from tumblers, Tervis also produces various drinkware such as wine glasses, mugs, and sippy cups, and the brand also allows customers to customize their products. Tervis also pledged to make their products sustainable and partnered with prAna in their Responsible Packaging Movement to decrease single-use plastic consumption in their packaging. The company has also partnered with 4Ocean in 2019 to help clean beaches in Siesta Key, Florida.
Tervis also licenses its products for the US Armed Forces, American sports leagues such as the NBA and NFL, as well as major NCAA universities. Currently, Tervis is now a third-generation family-owned and operated company, with retail stores in 6 US states.
