The luxury car brand has updated its iconic wings and unveiled a new brand strategy.
"The strategic repositioning is the largest investment in Aston Martin’s brand for more than a decade and strengthens its position at the pinnacle of the performance ultra-luxury segment." according to a press release on their website. "In addition to the new visual and verbal expression, the radical redesign includes a contemporary update to the iconic wings, created by the manufacturer’s world-renowned design function in collaboration with acclaimed British art director and graphic designer Peter Saville."
A British luxury car manufacturer, Aston Martin was founded by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford in 1913. Its brand is regarded as a cultural icon within Britain, and is often synonymous with the fictional spy James Bond, as he rode an Aston Martin-made luxury car in 1964’s Goldfinger.
Aston Martin is currently headquartered in Gaydon, Warwickshire, and is serving customers globally, with over 160 car dealerships in 53 countries worldwide.
Aston Martin also has its own Formula One team, headquartered in Silverstone, Northamptonshire, and licenses its brand to various other products such as aircraft, submarines, and real estate.
It produces automobiles such as luxury cars, grand tourers, and sports cars. Some of its most known models include the Vantage, DBX, DBS, and the Valkyrie, Aston Martin’s hybrid sports car.
